The innovative VocWorks’ Modified Duty Off-Site (MDOS) program helps reduce workers’ compensation and disability costs. Over the past 11 years, MDOS has proven to be a very valuable cost containment service among employers of all sizes across the country. Through MDOS, employees who have restrictions that cannot be accommodated on-site can be placed at non-profit organizations “temporarily” for 30-60-90 days. Our overall placement success rate in the MDOS program is 99.4%. In addition, 87.5% of MDOS referrals has successful outcomes -MMI, laid off, return to work, retired, job search, refused MDOS, quit MDOS (for MDOS monitored from time of referral to closure).
